Jamia Alumni KSA's Home

Jamia Millia Islamia Alumni Association (JMIAA), Riyadh Chapter is a non-political, non-governmental and totally independent body of the ex-students of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) working presently in Riyadh Region.

It was founded in Riyadh on …, by a group of erstwhile Jamia students working in Riyadh, to bring together all former students of Jamia Millia Islamia who are residents of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The raison d'etre for its launch was to form a society of a social & welfare character.

The fundamental factors leading to the formation of this Association are as follows:

Presence of significant number of ex-Jamiaites in the region.

Need for a common platform to facilitate and encourage networking among the Jamiaites.

Opportunity to benefit from the organized strength to deal with the vicissitudes of expatriate life as well as help new comers settle down by providing needed practical support.

Endeavor to launch welfare initiatives for the student community associated with Jamia Millia Islamia;

Our Guideing Principles

JMIAA will be a social, self-funding, welfare oriented non-profit association.

JMIAA will have no affiliation with any political or religious organization or group, whatsoever.

JMIAA will have and maintain, for all time to come, a social & welfare character and multi-cultural credentials.

JMIAA will pursue agendas that conform to the first three principles and those which do not compromise with the law of the land, socio-religious sentiments of any community and human rights in general, or, any matter that may be against the wishes of the majority of JMIAA members.

JMIAA will adhere to & cherish the traditions and values of Jamia Millia Islamia.

Objectives of JMIAA – Riyadh Chapter

To identify and initiate dialogue among the Jamiaites residing in Riyadh Region to become members of the JMIAA.

To promote friendship and social & cultural relations among the members.

To promote feeling of belonging to JMIAA and togetherness on special occasions.

To integrate new members with others (including new comers who are yet to join the association), as and when they arrive in the Kingdom on a secured job,..
